What The Programmes Deliver
Thamsanqa Career Pathways (TCP) is unlocking the tech-enabled and funded pathways into the emerging and elite Building Inspection profession for resilient, high-potential and top-performing matriculants, as well as Civil Engineering and Built Environment graduates from the disadvantaged, rural and underserved communities. The rollout of the Digitised Building Inspector Programmes is deliberately aligned to the national imperative, including mainstreaming of women, youth and persons with disabilities; advancing good governance, enhancing service delivery, protecting rights and accelerating inclusive social and economic empowerment across these priority sectors. - Structured, funded and supported Matriculants, Undergraduates and Graduates Pathways
- NQF-accredited academic pathways, aligned with the university approved curricula
- Supervised workplace and practical training coordinated by the Office of the Premier
- Alignment with the priority national skills frameworks and SACPCMP registration criteria
- On successful completion of academic and practical coursework the candidates qualify for professional designation as a Certified Building Inspector (CertBInsp) or Professional Building Inspector (PrBInsp)

Matriculants
- Top-performing NSC holders (APS 30+) with a minimum C+ in Mathematics, Physical Sciences and English
- Certified copy of your ID and National Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate
Undergraduates
- Students who completed Year 1 and / or Year 2 in Civil Engineering or the Built Environment but were unable to finish
- Certified copy of your ID and Completed Years 1 and / or 2 results
Graduates
- Certified copy of your ID
- Certified copy of one of the following Qualifications:
